#40 Anaïs (package swap)
From: Anaïs, Belgium - February 2012
Last week, I got a package so big, it didn't even fit in the picture! It was another package swap, from Anaïs! She included a lot of things, a handmade postcard, DIY 3D card, post its, beautiful stamp stickers, tea, cute mini cupcake cups and a really cool calendar magnet! Thanks Anaïs, I really liked the package. I'll send something back in the following week!

#39 Maaike
From: Maaike, UK - February 2012
Maaike is actually someone I know in real life, she is studying abroad (in Liverpool!) this year and she sent me this lovely UK-themed letter. Thanks Maaike, loved it! :-)
#38 Esther
I can't wait for spring to begin so I decided to wear yellow nailpolish - makes me happy :). This red polkadot envelope from Esther also made me really happy. She sent me a short note and included a quote, a cute little (handmade?) booklet and tea. The tea smells SO good, it's almost like a scented candle.

#37 Marlou
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been sick for the last couple of days.. I almost forgot to show you this beautiful mail from Marlou. She made an envelope out of a map of her favorite city, Oslo. Doesn't it look beautiful? I love maps! She included a copy of a postcard she bought in Oslo and some funny balloons.
I haven't had the time to write back to the last couple of senders, but don't worry, I have some days off so I'll start writing back this week! :-)

#36 First package swap: Kateri
From: Kateri, USA - February 2012
When I received this pink envelope in the mail from Kateri, I didn't expect such a lovely package! I litterally blushed from excitement (yes quite geeky). This is the best mail I got so far, just how I expected a package swap would be like. I've taken so many pictures of it, please read more to see all the lovely things she sent!

#35 Sally
From: Sally, China - February 2012
Another letter from Sally. It's fun to keep up with some pen pals on the long term! I think it's really nice that she wrote 'Nederland' (dutch for 'The Netherlands') instead of 'The Netherlands'. I really like that (Kelly once wrote 'Nerderland', like we're a county full of nerds, haha!).
At the time Sally wrote this letter, she was celebrating Chinese New Year. I don't know much about it, I only know that red is a special color for Chinese people. She included these 'lucky bags', were Chinese people put money in and give them to others as a sign of luck (correct me if I'm wrong!). That's really nice, I didn't know about this before and it's really cool to have something special from an other culture like this.

#34 Kelly
From: Kelly, Japan - February 2012
I just got Kelly's last letter two weeks ago, and I hadn't even found the time to write back and I already got a new postcard from Kelly! The Los Angeles and San Diego postcards are also from Kelly. She sent me those cards when she went back to her family last Christmas. I lost the cards in the big mess (aks my room) but I have found them again!
Thanks so much Kelly! I love the Japanese stamps, they are truly beautiful.
